Why is there a pop up add trying to sell me Barry manilow tickets in Vegas....... on L R H ?
What happened here? Gun & truck adds I could understand, but what's next, Neil Diamond? Or maybe Ray Charles endorsing optics?
Come on... Really.....? Has it gone that far?

Look I love L R H for what it is, for the friends I've made here, & all I've learned here, so if you reply to this thread please do it tactfully. It is NOT meant as a hate thread where people dog pile in on the problemb.
This is simply meant as a wishful reality check for what we log on here for. (wich is not Barry manilow)

In regards to ads posted on LRH I've found it has a lot to do with what you search for on your particular computer. My brother borrowed my laptop to do some research on buying an engagement ring and I had diamond and jewelry ads for about 2 months after.

My wife has also been watching a bunch of shows on HULU and now I get ads for TV shows I've never even heard of. Some of the ads that come up seem out of place every once in a while but most of the ads I see seem to be related to things I've searched for while on that particular computer.

If I remember there was a thread a little while ago about somebody wanting to know why it kept asking them about big breasted women and it made me laugh cause of what I mentioned previously. Don't know for sure if that's why it happened....just saying I've noticed a correlation between what you use google for and what pops up on ads on LRH.
