need reload help

Go to stevespages.com/page8c.htm He has data for the 22-243 Middlestead, which may be close, and the 6-350 also. Lots of data for lots of calibers. I cannot imagine how much shooting he has done to gather all this data.

For the 6mm I would use Ramshot Magnum.
Thats what I use in my 6-284 with excellent results.
Do a search on the 6-06.
I thought there were some posts in the past on this site.In fact I think Kirby has some info on it.
If you give me the water capacity , bullet and oal of each of each 6mm I can give you some ideas.

Thanks but not worth the trouble. I'll just use the 6-284 info and work from there. I have been loading 64 grains of RL22 on the 6-06AI with 85 grain ballistic tips and it is really accurate. Don't know what the fps is though.
should be about 4150 fps.

45 grains of imr 4350 with a 100 grain bullet for starting loads
or 54 grains with the same bullet and 4831 powder
loads came out of the Ackley handbook

Thanks Gary
I have the ackley books and I did try the 54 grs of 4831 and it was a good accurate load.
This 6-06 AI is really a fun caliber. Mine is a Savage 110 with a 22" stainless barrel.

WHY?
I have 25-06 270 win 7mag 30-06 & 300wsm for heavy bullets
The 22-243 220 swift 6-06 6-284 6-264 is built for SPEED OVER 4,000 FPS not big game hunting.

being as a .224 Vias will push an 80 grain bullet faster than a Swift will push a 50 grain bullet, whatkind of velocities are you getting? A 6Vias will also push a 70 grain bullet faster than a Swift I might add.
