The longest drop dead shot was 819 yards with a 7 mm STW. But I have made them squeal
at over 1100 yards (found blood but no hog).

I will shoot at them as far as I can see them because of the numbers we have.

My longest was 693 yards with rifle and 283 yards with my encore in .223 have'nt been out much with pistol but hope to get them farther than that.

Longest I've killed was 250 however that was a year ago, also missed on because I was a rev high at 350, however when he was facing me it was 348, he was a monster!! Hunting with a borrowed scope... Hard lesson to learn.

I did not remember that, thanks. The hog lease is new and I bet it has something to do with this fact.

Very long range friendly on the big game hunts, though. I will report back after my deer hunt.

250 yards with a '06, my wife dropped one at 200 yards with her 7-08.

My nine year-old daughter shot this on at just shy of a 100 yards with a 6x45 AR. I am more proud of this one, than if I had killed one at 2000 yards.

I am building a long range wildcat for the AR15 platform that I intend to test on some flat nosed, curly tailed, test subjects in the 400 to 500 yard range this summer.

Killed 2 Friday. 350 was a bang-flop, and the ****** of the bunch ran to the center of the field, stopped, and got stuck at 400. He made it to the woodline before pile up.

I watched a guy a few weeks ago drop a boar at a shade over 500 yards with a 260 Rem. I've never shot them past 300 yards. I always try to get close so I can shoot more times. Are there any points for running over them with your pickup?

I hope so, I have bump bumped ( as my daughter calls it ) a couple small ones myself.

Four out of a couple of dozen, in about 20 - 30 seconds. 100 yds, approx 300 yds, 400 yds and maybe 600 yds. After things died down, I laser ranged as best I could to where I thought they were when I hit them. First one was trotting. Found it about 30 yds from where it was hit. last 3 were running as fast as they could, panicked, but mostly away from me. The 2nd one I found maybe 200 yds from where he was hit, 3rd one made it across a small draw. Buzzards found it. The 4th one was a Hail Mary, and the Buzzards found it too. I heard the last 2 squealing for a little while. I was hunting out of my all time favorite stand. It was almost treeless, rolling hills, with over a 800 yd field of fire.

I probably should mention that it took 13 rds out of a semi-auto FAL to get 4 of them, but I did kill several rocks and badly wounded a cedar tree. It was great fun, except for a bunch of hot .308 hulls banging around inside my blind.

The hogs stayed away from my feeder for months after that morning. It supported my theory that hosing them down is good. They remembered it for a long time.
