I have a 280 A.I. built on a Browning A-Bolt action. It was originally a 280 Rem and rechambered to a 280 A.I. It has a hinged magazine. It looks like the sharper shoulder is binding and throwing the case into a bind and won't allow the cartridge rim to rize in the magazine.

Do they make different guts or is there a simple fix?

Thanks
Brian

The staggered feed mags can cause this and sometimes you have to open the action rails
a little.

Another way to fix this condition is to use a center feed mag box and a flat top follower.(The
round is already lined up with the chamber)this is also easier on the bullet.(It doesent get
skinned up while chambering).

This condition can occur even with standard cases if the rails are to tight.
