I have a .257 weatherby Mag Custom built with a Ruger M77 Action. with Shilen Match Grade Barrel 25 Caliber Center fire #4 Contour 1 in 12" Twist 26" Stainless Steel Barrel. The barrel has been Glassed bedded and action in-leaded. Very few rounds down the tube I had it built this June 2010 for this year deer season. But work is hard to find and I have to feed my kids and put a roof over their heads they come first someday I will built another one.

Trued the action?

Trigger work?

Was it a magnum bolt gun before rebarrel, or did the smith open up the boltface?


How much does it was as in the picture, and is that a Vari-X-11 4-12 Scope?


Curious what the handloads are that shot that good.

The work was done by a well known gunsmith out of Riverside California "LEROY" that works out of man cave has many machines. Well the rifle was a 25-06 Rem Yes he did open up the bolt face he did all kinds of work to it .as far as my loads are 100 gr Nosler ballistic tip and 100 gr Barnes XLC and triple shock. Loaded with IMR- 4831. I don't remember if the action is trued but no trigger job. I might have to call him. Scope is a Leupold VX-II 3-9X50mm

My price is pretty much firm it's a custom built Rifle as far as the platform is based on the Ruger M77 action.

thats a heck of a price and an interesting build. I wish I could help you out but my money is tied up in getting a new scope for my 338 Lapua. Hope you sell it soon. try gun broker if you have no luck here.
