BlueTooth Kestrel What model??

I have been testing the "Shooter" program I installed on my new Droid X phone. All indications so far are I am liking it. But more field testing will be done this summer. I want to hook up to a new Kestrel with blue tooth capabilities so I can get field conditions directly sent to my phone/shooter program.

So here are my questions?

1: What model is best? Keep in mind this will only be used for my shooting solution, so only features for this task are of interest to me.

2: Is there a model with a faster acting thermometer? My current 2500 NV is pretty slow at reacting to current temps when just turned on.

3: any other things I should be considering?

The 4000 series are available with blue tooth, I'm going to get the 4500 since I want to be able to mount it on the weather vane so I can set up at an ambush point and have live wind direction and speed. The 4000 won't give you the directional stuff I believe and you have to input direction as you do now, I think there is a comparison chart somewhere but I couldn't find it quick. Thanks , so does it translate the reading from degrees into the "clock" method for programs that use , lets say 3:00 for a full value?

I would highly doubt that since the standard is degrees not time based, GPS units are in degrees also so I would think that would be the out put, I'll try to find an online manual. I take it Shooter uses a time based value? Is Shooter directly getting inputs from the Kestrel or are you using the phone as a display then inputting that info manually to Shooter?

I found the 4500 Manual but it is unclear exactly what the directional output looks like, someone who has one might have to chime in, I believe the Kestrel display in Loadbase is in degrees.

I have been letting the GPS on my phone input the field conditions. I only input the distance. Unless I check the coriolis box then I point the phone at the target and it will get the degree of the shot and the azmuth to by pressing the corisponding "Get" button for them. But if you are in an area were no cell service is present you need to either enter them manually or go the bluetooth method. This is why I am looking at the bluetooth kestrels.

Shooter does do the wind in the clock method. I really like this. Probably since I have done it that way so long with my NF program. But the degree method seems confusing to me.
