It seems that Idaho Governor "Butch" Otter has told the feds that his state is washing it's hands of wolves and will no longer manage them in accordance with the endangered species act! He must have some huge, brass ones!! In essence, what this means is that he has ordered his F&G dept. NOT to investigate any illeagally killed wolves and not to respond to requests for help because the wolves are preying on livestock. So..................to my feeble mind that leaves wolves kinda to the public to manage, right??? Hey Roy, keep making them boolits, looks like you may get to use them yet.

Jim

Plus they said stick it to obama care!!!

Going to the machine shop tomorrow to work out details on boolit tip making.

Gonna be a good "P" day.:)

Last night on NRA News Cam was interviewing Gov. Otter on just this subject very good interview covering just WHY he did dump the WOLF in the Feds. lap.

I found an older 9/2/10 interview, using the search function, with Otter but nothing from 10/19. I'd like to hear it. Could you provide more details on how to find it? Thanks.

LOL!

Sounds like your Fish and Wildlife dept. is a bit Loopy too. I just read they are negotiating with the Greenie's to try and come to an agreement on wolf numbers? Do you know anymore about this?

OK...sorry...haven't spent enought time at the NRA news site...

For Otter's talk on ID and wolves, goto NRA News , then click on 'News and Programming' at the top left, then click on 'Program Guide' just to the right, then a menu pops up right where 'Program Guide' used to be. At the top of that menu, you can click on several dates. Click on 10/19/10 and then scroll about halfway down that menu using the little scroll bar to the right of that menu and you will see about a 2min with Otter. I haven't listened to is yet, but am going to right now.
