bolt upgrades for Remington 7oo s action

I am currently shooting a Remington 700 s action. And I would like to upgrade my bolt to a tactical style bolt. What is a high quality tactical upgrade for my 700.

You could have a tactical bolt knob installed, the handle skeletonized, bolt body fluted and have it duracoated matte black. Other than that I can't really think of what else you could do to give it a tactical look.

seeing as how there is not a "standard" for a tactical bolt, other than a knob. the door is open.

For the money, your best bet is to buy a PTG bolt with threaded handle already and sell yours. You can order it fluted, with sako or M16 extractor and be way ahead money wise over reworking a stock 700 bolt.

Be prepared to have the headspace re-qualified if you go with a bolt other than the one you have now.
