7mm STW with 180gr Berger and vv N170?

Anyone using vv N170 with the 7mm STW and 180 gr Berger VLD?

I have been reloading with N165 but this week i bought a box of 170 to try in my STW, but i can`t find any reloading info on this combo


Anyone with experience?

Check these loads. VV170 is a little slower than 870:

I have 2 pounds of N570 that I plan on testing in my STW eventually. Supposedly it is the same burn rate but VV's own data shows it to be a little slower. As far as data email Berger Bullets and they will send you data. Just specify the powder you will be using.

Just looked up an email from Walt Berger and data for the 7STW.

Starting Load 72 grs. (VVN170) 2668 fps. 26" barrel
Max Load 76 grs. (VVN170) 2816 fps. 26" barrel


These are Quick Load estimates and I have found them to be on the light side but approach carefully.
