6mm Ackley for sale SOLD

I have a Krieger barreled Savage 110 for sale.

The action is the "old" new 110 action, stagger feed (never use the mag) with accutrigger. 25 MOA base on top. The action has been pillar and glass bedded, the lugs were lapped, as well as being trued. The bolt head is one for a left handed gun, it works fine, just doesn't eject the shell. You don't have to worry about losing brass! (which is nice) Midway originally shipped me the wrong bolt head, but upon installing, the left handed one actually is pretty handy. It attempts to eject the shell down instead of up and out of the action.

The barrel is a Krieger 30" 1-7.5" twist, .8" at the muzzle, plus a SSG Vaporizer brake. This gun's recoil is essentially nil, and velocities are smoking. I have less than 200 rounds through this rig. The gun was furnished without a barrel nut, however since the barrel is headspaced correctly, it should be able to be removed and then torqued back on. The throat is pretty long.

The stock is a Boyd's Target/Varmint stock, finished pretty well, but not by me haha. It has one ding that happened about 10 minutes ago on the bottom of the butt where it rides the bags. This happened as I was taking the gun downstairs from pictures. Someone should tell me there is cleaning liquid on the stairs. One sling stud is installed in the front of the stock for bipod use.

My reason for selling this gun is twofold. First, I have college in the fall, and that will be expensive. Secondly, I can't get this gun to shoot 115 grain DTACs. It shows promise with 95 grain SMK's, as the included target picture shows. I originally wanted to shoot F-Class with this gun, but the summer is passing quickly, and it looks like I ran out of time.

A full set of Redding dies will be included, and I can throw in 100 pieces of brass, some fired once, some fired several time, but most primer pockets are fine.

Although I need money for college, I could be tempted with a trade. I want an F-Class rig, preferably in 223, 6BR, 6mm Dasher, or 308. I like long barrels.

*Scope, rings, and bipod not included.
