One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in the classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy:

Teacher:Tommy do you see the tree outside?

Tommy: Yes.

Teacher: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?

Tommy: Yes.

Teacher: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.

Tommy: O.K. (He returned a moment later) Yes, I saw the sky.

Teacher: Did you see God?

Tommy: No.

Teacher: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there.

A little girl raised her hand and asked if she could ask the boy some questions too. The teacher nodded her head.

Little Girl: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?

Tommy: Yes.

Little Girl: Did you see the sky outside?

Tommy: Yes.

Little Girl: Do you see the teacher?

Tommy: Yes.

Little Girl: Do you see her brain?

Tommy: No.

Little Girl: That's MY point. Does that mean that if we can't see it, it isn't there?

That's funny there!!!

+1 It takes a whole lot more faith to believe "evolution" than it does to believe that their is a God ! I feel like the analogy was very simple, one could say " right down on the bottom of the shelf were the little bitty children of God could pick it up" :)
