WSM on a 700 LA

Has anybody built a WSM on a Remmy long action? Thinking of giving it a shot but I'm unsure if I should go single shot or if put a mag under it. I guess what I need to know is will it feed reliably as an ADL or BDL?

I don't think you would have feed problems as long as the rails were set up for mag width. A big plus would be being able to seat your bullets out as far as you wanted without being crowded in the magazine.....Rich

Yes, it's been done quite a bit. Look as some of the rifles that 308nate built. Very impressive.

I've done a few myself on long action Savages.

I think the Remmy WSM's are built on the LA. There is no difference overall length on their spec with other LA cartridges.
