At the ripe ol' age of 67 I'm now seeing like a 20 year old.

If anyone is considering a lens transplant and can find a good eye smith I'd strongly consider going for it. Costs about as much as a top of the line custom rifle or maybe a little better. Or if you're stuck on medicare as I am its much less expensive.

Went from legally blind in the left eye to 20-20 in about 25 minutes.

Went from pretty good to 20-25 in the right eye in about the same amount of time.
Didn't improve the vision much but things sure got brighter in this eye.

Got to toss the glasses for Long Range Looking. This is great!!!!

Am able to use binos again. .

I have a thumper coming w/an NXS on it and can hardly wait to see through it.

The Weaver Tactical, Ziess Conquest and the el cheapo binos are superb!!

Life is good ....... for those who are living.......

The great part of it is that ya'll collectively foot the bill.:D

Roy,

That's great news! I'm happy for you.

You do realize, however, we expect more great long range hunting from you now?! And, since we paid for the surgery, your efforts at documentation and sharing such documentation with us here is the least you could do, you know? :D:D

Say, do you have any idea when that .375 is gonna show up? I'm waiting impatiently for my .338...

Jon

Wow Roy, I bet that's feeling good!! You'll be a kid in a candy store for a while :D
Talk about planning, new eyes, new scope and new gun arriving, nice!
+1 on you owing us a wolf, shoot one for me too!!

Congrats Roy,
Good for you.
Agree with previous posts, now that you can see better we want to see more long range hunts from you!!!
Good luck.

Glad to have paid my share of the bill Roy. Do you know which eye of yours I own stock in?:D

Yo Wampum,

Have to head to Eau Claire/Hilliards Tuesday. Little brother (all of them are little to me, me being the oldest. didn't win the battle with the big C. Funeral in West Sunbury on Thursday. Flying out Sat. afternoon. Probably too small of a window to get together with all of the other activities.

That's one dedicated Western PA smoke pole and Bow hunter gone. He has a shop wall covered with fruits of his hunting labors.

jmden,

No word on the 375 AM. I have another week before I can even get up to Ft. Shaw to pick it up.

March is the dedicated Wolf hunt. The Southern Idaho area has only one of the 5 allotted having been taken. A pretty black one. They are spread out and reportedly not running in anything more than pairs. The wild life service has been busy the last couple of years servicing stockmen complaints.
