Here is one of my long range rigs that I just completed, well almost.

Specs:

28" shillen # 8 contour barrel w/ brake
Winchester WSM action Trued
Ken Ferral 20moa base
TPS rings
Leupold 6-18X40
Joel russo A5-L laminant stock

Only other thing I need to complete the custom transformation is a custom trigger and maybe another scope. So far a year and a half project, coming to an end.

Very nice looking rig. Hope it shoots as well as it looks. Russo definitely builds some of the best looking stocks I have ever seen. All we need know is a range report. Dan

As soon as I saw Joel Russo stock I had to take a look...Phenominal craftsmanship in wood...an art. You should be very proud, that's a handsome looking rig.

Great looking rig. And as always, those Joel Russo stocks are a pice of art, real nice wood work there. Keep us posted on the shooting results.

Ha! Ha! Ha! That is the exact photo that led me to decide what colors to choose for this stock. Very beutiful indeed!

That`s one sweet looking stock scarlet and gray Ohio State colors.

I almost went with blue and white :D, but the look of the black and rosewood just blew me away. A **** fine stock from an equally respectable person. My advise to anyone that is in the market for a high end stock is to check out Joel Russo. Customer service is second to none, and an honest, respectable guy running the show there too.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys.

It was a pleasure doing business with you shootinfool.

I wish he would have went with Blue and White because the first stock I made him turned out Pink and Black. After I installed the cheek piece, I sent him a picture. He politely told me that he couldn't be seen at the range with such a thing.
I understood and made him another using a blank I acquired from a fellow stock maker friend.

Reguardless of color you do great work! I have a chunk of purple heart and , a piece of black mesquite I would like stocks made from once I figure out what to put on top.
