Well I went out for my third solo hunt and put all together and got one.

Thank you all for all your great info on this board. I maid a el-cheepo caller with my girlfriends I-pod and a caller speaker I found at Cabelas. Here is the link if any one needs a cheep way to go. Cabela's -- Cass Creek Bighorn Speaker 20$ can't beat it. Oh and the free mp3 calls on varmint Al's Varmint Al's Hunting Page The suprise is it worked... I can say It's possable a first time hunter called one in and got one with all learned here.

Yah, Congratulations!!

I remember the first one I called in. I was 13 and it came up and sat down behind me. I didn't know it was there until I went to leave. We scared each other half to death (me and the coyote) and I've been hooked ever since.
