Your SHTF mandatory gun list.

Didn't get on the C-17, but logged a bunch in it's predecessor, the C-141. I miss it. A lot. Retired in 1998. 22 years on active duty. Time gone by....
I hitched a ride on a 141 from Athens . Flight path is mandatory to head out to sea to stay away from the Acropolis/Parthenon to keep sound waves a safe distance. . This guy headed for the sea, then as a little extra went verticle. Plane was almost empty. What a thrill.

If it all went to hell and a handbasket, what guns are MANDATORY for you? For me, it would be:
.22LR
.45 ACP
9mm
12 GA
5.56/223
.308
Even during the ammo/parts shortages of recent years and the pandemic, I could still find what I needed. And let's face it, these are found almost everywhere. Keep in mind the problems/events of the day.

What about you guys?
Your list seems to cover 90 to 95% of everything necessary one thing I don't see is 762 x 39 after all you must consider who is causing the hell in our hand basket and what would they be carrying.

Chiappa 8 insert kit
12ga. O/U
.22 LR

Assuming that in fact the SHTF and society was broken then we all become foragers and the 8 inserts allow me to use ammo of various kinds that I might find in abandoned homes or businesses or vehicles.

Aluminum shaft usually not carbon fiber you will get a few more chances, but no they are not going to last too long, plus you must go to your target to retrieve them, which may not be a good idea. And if you get a pass through now, you must find them.

All valid points! However, the use of a bow is a fairy narrow spectrum…..and very effective within that spectrum!

Like many of the rifles/cartridges/bullets used by many on this forum…..it's not extremely versatile! memtb
