I got mine for $129.99 no sales tax at Cabela's in Billings about 3 weeks ago. I didn't think to check Scheels when I was there before that . I've seen online for low as $99.99. also have seen their earbuds for $599.99 ! Screw that. I got my Walker Silencer's half off on a sale from Midway for less than $100 two years ago.
Midway has a sale for $69.99 for the battery operated in FDE

I was going to carry it while hunting in case of griz. Even bought a Gunfighter holster for it. I wanted to keep the Sig Romeo red dot on it tho. It's motion activated. So it basically would be on all the time while walking but it wouldn't fit all the way in holster with it on. I was going to heat holster up with hair dryer and mold it. I changed my mind and thought the XVR is to **** heavy anyway . Returned the holster . Bought a new Glock 20 10mm from a buddy few days later. Bought a Gunfighter holster for it. Done deal !

As mine primarily used for hunting, and some plinking, I went with the Galco Kodak. It's all leather, and very quiet to carry and especially if the firearm is being withdrawn with game close!

If the handgun were solely for outdoor defense…..it would have a much shorter barrel and one of the kydex holsters would probably rise to the top of the pile in consideration! memtb

I bought mine used…..happened to have the brake for cast! memtb
So you have both ? I always wondered why there were two different brakes and what would happen if they were used opposite ? 😳 I bought mine within a year of first coming out for $600.00 something. They are twice that now. I wanted the 10 in. Hunter barrel but couldn't locate one so I bought the 8 in.. A week later I was in same gun store. There was a 10 in. Mutha ?$&#*! !!!!! 😆 I don't remember the year it was. For a few years I used to buy a pistol ever year with my income tax refund 👍🏼 I remember following year I bought a Ruger GP100 .357 (following year came out with stainless) 🙄 Then a Glock 21 45 auto. The good old days 😕

No…..only the one for cast. Though, I got some factory ammo with the gun…..burned it for the brass, and saw no I'll effects from running jackets through the cast brake!

I'd consider murder to get a short barreled (5" or slightly less) …..but, kill'n the wife is probably not a good "life choice"! 😂🤪 memtb

I like the Gunfighter. It can't fall out but you can firmly pull it out when needed. They are pricey but I got 20% off because I worked there part time.
What was the topic of this thread ? I forgot already. I'm too old to care 😉
I bet Skipglo will remind me. 😆
