Mechanical lock safes are difficult to find these days. Sure you can special order a safe with one, but finding one locally is tough. I have been struggling with space recently in my old safe.

I tend to see the older safes with mechanical locks at estate sales & auctions.

Look at Liberty, they have S&G dial locks on just about all of their models. I have a Lincoln and couldn't be happier, cept shoulda bought one two sizes larger!! SSC is a REAL problem!!!! LOL

Oh lordy..... just take out your little keys and unlock the safes that have electronic locks. Cash?.......with your concerns I would hope you will not rely on cash to purchase things when we/they are using EMP or similar attacks.

All three of the electronic lock gun safes that my wife and I own have key over rides. The electronic keypad slides up and underneath is the keyhole. This includes our US made Sentry safe.

Do you think that may be true of all brands~?

I was concerned about the EMP "lockout", so I had mine changed to a rotary dial. Luckily, in Boise, we have a master safe technician named Lance Mayhew. He maintains many of the safes for big financial and precious metal businesses. I highly recommend him, and if anyone needs it I have his contact information.
