It's the 223 case simply necked up to .257 caliber. It shoots 85-87 grain bullets right at 3000 fps with minimal muzzle blast or recoil. It would be a great women and kids gun for deer or antelope to 300 yds or so. My dad had it built for coyotes and a truck gun. It's certainly a fun little round.

It's basically the 6mm tcu. 223 necked up to 6mm. I had one in a Thompson/center contender pistol. Such a neat cartridge. Great for coyotes, chucks and prairie dogs.

Slightly more recoil than a 223 but significantly more energy. It really is a fun round with very mild manners and in a nice light rifle.

I have several cz527's
And I am thinking about selling my custom 6.5 Grendel this would help pay for a thermal.
And I have a 25-45 sharps AR barrel coming for calling coyotes at night with the thermal. If you could send me some load data or the best place to find it I would appreciate it.

I love my CZ 527s and 550s. I wished I would've bought more before they were discontinued for the push feed models.
