FedEx strikes againšŸ˜”

I'll be going to their distribution center soon. They will be getting an earful. They know their driver, his route, and the driver will know the house they delivered to. I was also supposed to have a Sako 20 delivered yesterday for a customer. It showed out for delivery until 8pm then changed to today. It now says out for delivery. At least that requires a signature.

Brah, take a deep breath and assess. Don't go all Kareninator on them. :D
I use RSR too. Not saying it has been handled right or RSR are angels, but the fact of the matter is FedEx has the location. It is just a matter of getting FedEx to unscrew themselves.

That's why I waited. Went to FedEx ground, wrong place. Said can't help. Went to Fedex Express, the looked up location. It is my neighbor but up on a deck I can't see. I stopped there and package was gone. Rang door bell and heard a bunch of dogs barking but no one came. I will stop by later. Couldn't have been worse neighbors to deliver to. They are strangest duds I've met. I plowed for them once when they were gone since it was about 2' of snow and they never thanked me. So why wouldn't they just bring the package over? Been next to them for 17 years and they won't so much as waive. I none of the other neighbors have their phone number. I'll stop by tonight when the lights will be on and go from there. Glad I know where it at least got left.

To top it off, when I left work to see if they were home, I stopped by my place. There was the Sako S20 laying on porch with no signature. ā˜¹ļø

Well, at least it was the right porch for that one! :D

I discussed this once before abiut FedEx photos. They DELIBERATELY remove metadata from photos so you cannot confirm location for delivery. I had a very nice (NOT) discussion with them and told them their photo doesn't mean šŸ’© without location embedded in photo especially deliberately removing it.

I got a text from Fedex that a package was delivered to my door....nope. it was a $700 tablet so I was in the driveway working on my 4runner waiting for it as it had a signature required. I have had this happen before and the package showed up an hour or 2 later but this was a high dollar item so I got on their site right away. Chat was no help, eventually got a woman on the phone who took all the info then she asked questions like what color is your house, how long is your driveway, do you have any trees, are there any distinguishing features on your house ? I tell her it is a tract house and the distinguishing feature is the address painted on the curb and on the house, otherwise they all look the same. I realize I am wasting my time, get an "investigation" started and someone will be contacting me. Package shows up 2 days later, no text, no knock, no signature, never got a call, email or anything. Have had much better luck with UPS.
Another member on this forum has the video of the fedex driver delivering his item to the wrong address and still did not get a refund. Hope you get your stuff back.

To be honest, I was glad to see it. Even though it was supposed to be signed for. Seems like more and more drivers just don't give a šŸ’© anymore. Our UPS guy is pretty good. Usually the same guy, probably 90% of the time. FedEx, you get whoever and most have a terrible attitude in my experience.
I got my neighbors phone number from another down the road and left a message. Shouldn't be an issue and would think I'll have them by tonight.

I used to have all my drivers cell and they had mine, and I could meet up with them if I wasn't home somewhere in town. Not so much of that anymore.

I had a flintlock coming via FedEx with sig required so I didn't go to work. I watched it come from Michigan and I live in Arizona. It zipped right by on I-40 Friday afternoon and by Saturday it was in San Francisco, CA. By Sunday it was back in Yuma, AZ heading to Phoenix. It said delivery was on Monday, sig was required. So, again I didn't go to work. As the day wore on I started cleaning my garage so I would be right there when it showed up. At 4 pm I get a text that my package was delivered and had a signature! I live five miles from our group mailboxes and bulk box for the USPS. I drove up there and there was my flintlock! I called FedEx and laid into them about me staying home for two days with no pay and them leaving a firearm unattended in a community box. The hub manager apologized and said a neighbor must have signed for me. I told him no one around me knew me by a name other than the guy that catches rattlesnakes!!! It turned out the driver didn't want to spend the 20 minutes to get back to my house and signed for me! He now calls me and asks if he can leave the package in the community box or if I need it to my door. (Our road is like a mud bog at times despite complaining to the HOA.) The manager gave me his personal number in case I ever had another firearm coming and I didn't want to stay at home the whole day.
