I know a lot of people were having good luck with staball in here, but I just can't get it to shoot consistently. It's not accurate and it's not really consistent velocity wise either.

I've had really good luck in a few cartridges with it. What scale are you using?

Lyman gen 6. in 270wsm with the 128gr bd2s. The wsm may just be a little too big for it.

That's with lapua brass. And no neck turning.

Did you make a reamer yourself? I have a 7 mega and have been debating about necking it down to 270 for this bullet.

My most accurate load so far has been 64.3gr of RL23 for a mv of 3188 at about 95 thou off the lands. I have yet to really see pressure with anything, but I've pushed the 128 up to 3300 with 64gr of staball (pretty sure this is over pressure even if my brass doesn't show it). This is the velocities I was getting yesterday:

no pressure signs, but I was calling it at about 3300 because I don't need to push it that hard.
