Well we let Samson and Cassie (our 9 month old pup) out to relieve themselves for the night right around 10:30 PM 10:45 Pm. Tonight was 10:30PM. Samson came right back after 5 minutes. can set your watch by him. Cassie usually follows him. Not so tonight. She would not come to my calls. Thought I heard he bark growl by the front of the property. Hopped in the truck and ran down the road to the neighbors and then back to the other end of the road. NO PUP. Now I am Pis***. pulled back to the garage and started walking to the back property. It is a 7/8 moon out and 68 degrees with fog. I can se fairly well and Cassie is all white. got to the back of the property at the shooting range and deer food plot. What do I see. FOUR COYOTES and left the SBR in the truck and Cassise our upcoming Great Pyrenees to kill Yotes is not around and I have nothing to shoot. with it being like daylight out. I am being careful not to fall walking in the woods since my operation.
Could not find our pup and could have shot some Yotes. Was disappointed walking back to the house hoping that Cassie was there.
Cassie was face plastered up against the inside garage door to the house with her tail wagging 200 rpms wanting in the house... No idea where she was hiding on the property while i called her.
Can't wait to get the staples out of my incisions and no pain from the procedure on my spine. If I do have some pain they can turn on the new Spinal Cord Stimulator to see if the frequencies cancel the pain signals out.
Just seeing those Yotes a little more than a half hour ago got me pumped up to hunt. Perfect night for NV Hunting. Can't wait to get my spinal cord fixed so I can build firearms all day and then hunt at night for Yotes & Hogs.
If you are in good health-keep it that way as long as you can. You never know when something can cause medical problems to shut down your active life!
Either way there is always excitement depending on how you make it!

As a victim of spinal problems, I can relate. Its very painful. Hopefully you will heal fast and completely 🙏. Seeing those yotes with no pew in hand must have been disheartening. Missed opportunity 😕. Glad your pup didn't get fragged. When we are young, we think that we will always bounce back after any injury. I call it being "made out of rubber". As we age, we know better. Some of those injuries come back to haunt us while dosing out years of delayed agony. Take good care, get some rest and get back doing what you love to do. Stay safe and have fun!

Thanks, I hope this last operation works!!!
I usually always carry a firearm and Cassie kind of got me going looking for her. Had the SBR in the truck, but left it when walking to back property. Have to keep strapped with all the coyotes around. Cassie is definitely big enough to kill coyotes, but not smart enough yet at 9 months. She will get there.
I still think that I am in my early twenties. (66). My body is kind of wearing out. Being a Marine, had horses and did some Rodeo, 2K Scuba Dives, 1K+ Sky dives, hundreds of Triathlons, Ultra Marathons, Climbed Mountains Denali, Ranier. Hunted around the world. Now have more metal in my body than a Chinese pinball machine.
One thing is NEVER STOP. That is when you will start getting old.

Ahhh! To be 21 again. Yeah right. Anyway, some years ago I was taking the trash out at around midnight. As I was within 10 feet of the can, I glanced to movement on my left and stared straight into the eyes of a smallish black bear. He (or she) was completely engrossed in dining on a nice bag of garbage scavenged from the can. Not sure who was more scared/surprised but after what seemed like an eternity, we both just backed up and left. After cleaning out my shorts and my heart started again, I took stock into what may have been. Since then, I carry a pew out every night when I take the trash out and let the dogs do their business. I consider myself to be a very lucky person.

Hope your health continues to improve.

I can relate on the health issues front. I was diagnosed with cancer in late august, prognosis is good but it hasn't been a fun end to the year.

I've been owned by a few great pyrenees. For predator control, they are best off not by themselves.

We pray that everything with your treatments will leave you cancer free and healthy. These Stock Dogs Definity own you. All our animals own us!.

Len I had a spinal cord stimulator for 12 years and it failed so had it removed but when it worked it was the cat's meow!
I got off all pain meds with that thing.
Be careful at first especially with staples in you but when they are gone you will enjoy it.
Been thinking of getting the new one's.

I hope that you are not in pain but if you are the SCS today are light years ahead of the ones from 12 years ago. They told me that these last about 10 years and then they replace the Generator/battery. This is my second one. First never worked so now the big Padel that was implanted in my spine at C-2 to C4 should cover the entire spinal cord. Once the pain from slicing and dicing of my back/neck is gone, we can determine what actual pain is coming from the spinal cord and hopefully find a frequency to cancel out the pain singles.
I am praying that the part of the surgery where the bone on my spine was ground down to release some noted compression gets rid of the pain completely and they don't need to turn on the SCS.
It would be a MIRICLE after six years of severe 24/7/365 PAIN. To be PAIN FREE! Been on high doses of pain meds that I am immune to and can't stand taking, but the only thing to take the edge off.
Can't wait to start shooting again. Just got a new 10/22 from my father in law and have a dozen barrel blanks sitting next to our Lathe waiting to be chambered.
Got two properties within 15 minutes with hogs and Yotes running around yelping and squealing my name out.
