6.5 PRC 147 ELDM. N560 & N565?

I don't think I would START w. 58.0gr of N565. I would start around 56.0gr.

Look at the numbers in the right hand columns. The left column is for the new 6.5PRC/SI.
These are 156s w. H1000 (yellow) & N565 (green). Should get you close.
Lapua brass (which has more capacity than ADG), Fed GM210M, from a 22" 1:7.5" and SA SAAMI spec reamer.

Thank you for the info Lance! Yeah I figured if dude were consistently shooting 59gr. with a 156. I'd be fine at 58gr. with a 147. I was wrong. I mean nothing crazy. Just a little bolt click.

But not the speed I wanted either. I think the 140 ELDM will be perfect.

I have used N565 in my PRC for 140 VLD, 144 Hyb, 143 ELDX and 156 EOL. My current load with a new 24" CarbonSix barrel is Gunwerks (ADG) brass, Fed 210M, 54.8 grains of N565 and the 156 EOL. Accuracy node is at 2880 fps which makes it a legit 800 yard load if you use the 1800 fps and 1200+ lb/ft rule. Also puts 5 shots in 1 ragged hole at 100 yards. The case is pretty full but I don't have to compress the load due to the 2.990 COAL with 156s.
Make sure you try some large rifle primers. I pressured out really early using the 215Ms but the 210Ms let me get an additional 150 fps with better accuracy.

I will also add with my 156gr Berger load I'm using Adg brass and CCI 250 primers. Overall length of the loaded round is 3.060

Tested the 140 ELDM's today. I have a 20" barrel and these were my numbers.

210M primers. Once fired Lapua brass.

58gr. N565 yielded zero pressure signs and 2890fps.

59gr. N565 yielded a slight bolt click and 2950fps.

The hotter load also yielded tighter groups. I'm going to load up a decent amount at 58.5gr. and run em.

This is a 5 shot group at 2.96" COAL and 59gr. N565.

Do you plan to give the 560 a try as well? Curious to see what it does velocity wise

I haven't seen 565 in a couple of months, but 560 has been at 3 different retailers in stock as of today (technically almost a week ago).

According to Berger w/ 140E, N560 produces good MV with good fill capacity. Other data posted below including one from Primal Rights testing.
