Mile shot

No, as it walk through the aspens I was able to get 6 shots off in the two minutes I saw bull elk move 30 yards. My spotters could not see at that distance where my shots were hitting, but that it was still standing. Not until I drove the 1-1/2 hours to the other side of mountain and processed did I know how many hits and where. When it fell it was out of site. It is my longest to date. 20 over 1000, 5 at 1100-1200, 1215, and 1322 kills. 22 years doing long range. I have photos and video on face book of the event.

Anti Facebook here. I'd love to here all the details of the projo and load.

I guess this is the first welcome to the forum. 1730 is a long poke especially with 5 out of six hitting the vitals. Please post more details for us anti-Facebook folk. Assuming he just stood there and absorbed the hits. If he was moving, I'm going to be either be amazed or skeptical.
He was standing still for all the shots. Moved 30 yards left to right up the bluff till he fell with last shot out of site. Elk fell and rolled about 10 yards to a tree.
