My understanding is, you can drive across the river into Washington and buy a gun. As long as it's not an AR since you have to have a permit to buy an AR in Washington.

NC requires permits for handguns from the sheriff of the county you live in. Of course your rights can be your for the very low price of $5. And you still pay transfer fees.

Imagine if every real American refused to show up for work for a while. The incompetent blues, would eat each other within 3 months. Let society crash on their heads. We can rebuild easily afterwards, without the dead weight.

I'm confused. The more I read on this issue the more confused I become. It's like they voted 114 in, now they are going to decide the what, where, when, how, why and are in no hurry to do so. But Mean while we are left hanging out to dry. Because the one thing that they are sure of is you can't purchase a firearm and no idea when they are going to get it figured out so you can even try to get a permit. Feel like I've been sucker punched.

It started with the manufacture of "Firearms" right after we won Independence and the "United States" was formed. The newly formed Government put out dozens of contracts for Firearms and many new Armories started.
Firearms manufacturing was the MOST IMPORTANT form of "Manufacturing" and many advancements in machinery came from this.
Our Government knew that the only way that the United States could keep Independence and Freedom was by keeping large stocks of Firearms and not only for the Army, but for the Citizens! That is why the 2nd is in the Bill of Rights.
It is unbelievable how people have forgotten what was fought for all of us to enjoy FREEDOM.
If it was not for "FIREARMS" WE WOULD NOT BE THE UNITED STATES TODAY!
