New squirrel rifle

I also just picked a CZ for 457 UP beautiful guns amazing shooting. I would Mount the scope shoot it and see if you got to mess with it before I mess with it. I've got the switch barrel on mine I haven't tried the 17 HMR yet good luck with yours

Like hesse and Jon Bischof said shoot it first before you do anything to it. Like they say if it ain't broke don't fix it. I would add and don't break it. Try a bunch of different ammo and see how she shoots.
I would also hunt with it and enjoy it. The gun safe seems to add more dings to guns then hunting if you are a little carful and aren't mountain climbing or brush busting. Squirrel hunting is normally a little more sedate. Enjoy your new rifle.🙂

I was looking at one of those. And curious to know how both barrels performed ? And how much of a pain it is switching the barrels ? I would think being a CZ it should be straight forward. And good shooters.

I have a few rim fires that just sit around because I don't want to scratch them up in the woods. Older but not that old. Such as a Rem 552 Speedmaster. Beautiful gun. I'm not sure it was ever fired. Is it smart to let them sit in the box ? To me, it sure isn't much fun. lol
It is your rifle. Do exactly what you want to do with it, so long as you are having fun in the process🙂. They are nice pieces of kit and as I recall, they shoot as well as they look.

Great rifles for sure, probably the most accurate i own and darn good looking too 20221101_055835.jpg20221101_055840.jpg
