I mean flavor hehe.

The scotch in mtn dew makes sense to me because if it ruins the taste mtn dew is cheap and you can replace it!

Maybe scotch makes Mt Dew drinkable?

I will occasionally put a splash of ginger ale or coke in certain whiskeys, but putting a splash of whiskey in a mt Dew to make mt. Dew drinkable? Interesting idea.

If that is what you enjoy, drink it in good health!

Alright guys...in two weeks wife is going to be away for a couple days. I'm going to have the kids. Plan is when they're in bed to pull a few special sticks out of the humidor. Needing a drink pairing, preferably single malt scotch or bourdon. Go!

I'm a small name distillery guy so I like Noah's Mill Small Batch (Willett) Peerless single barrel or their Double Oaked. Don't pass up a bottle of Weller 12 year or Antique and if you want to think outside the box one of the best drinks I have had with a cigar was a double pour of The real McCoy 12 year rum.

Talisker 10 year
Johnny Walker green label

Ended up with Macallan 12 sherry Oak. Great scotch imo but didn't jive with the cigars I had going andy palate. I think too much of the sherry came out which wasn't my favorite.

I need some help here. I did a 'search' and could not find any reference to Bell's 20 year old Scotch Whiskey.
Reason I asked was that in the mid 1970's I was in the military and working with a civilian contractor on the Minuteman Missile Hardening Program. We were in Seattle, Washington and the contractor's wife had passed away and he was a bit down. We went to a restrurant that had a bar that claimed there was no liquor that they didn't have. He kinda laughted and asked for Bell's 20 year old whiskey. The bartender reached up and brought down a bottle and set it in front of him. He/we proceeded to drink the whole bottle over the evening. Unbeknownst to me he ordered a case of it from the bar to be delivered to his residence in Missouri where we were working. A few weeks later he walks up to me and gives me a bottle.
I guess these days I am not sure I can find it and if I did, afford it. Memories!!!!
