Bear Revenge

The Russia article never explained how they concluded the bear killed the hunter when he walked up to skin it.

Unless they had it on video, it's all a guess. Dead men don't tell their death tales.

The grizzly maze risk was like free climbing mountain cliffs. They all eventually fall off and die. Do what Treadwell did for a long enough period of time, and a bad-*** brown bear will cross your path. Can't whoop a brown bear without a deadly weapon. All Treadwell had were bear treats. His body, and that of his girlfriend.

In his own videos, Treadwell said he would never do anything to hurt "his" bears.
He said he'd never carry any defensive tools that could hurt a bear. So not even bear spray.
It took a number of years, and many bear encounters... But stick with that foolishness long enough, and a bear will eventually make you the fool.

Some bears don't play nice...

How can you assume that bears are dangerous when they wear bib overalls and dance around the campfire. Oh wait, that is Disneyland and not real life but wait isn't it? All the wildlife channels I watch show animals just want to be friends and share the joy of being in the wild. Bears are not normally dangerous, hunters make them that way.

What do you mean:
1 - I can't feed bears marshmellows? How about ice cream?
2 - I can't put my kid on a bison for a photo op for twitter, instagram and tik tok?
3 - I can't leave my food in my tent?
4 - But I want to pet the cub between the ears!
5 - I can't pick up prairie dogs with the plague?
6 - I can't feed prairie dogs?
7 - I can't feel the velvet of a bull elk?
8 - I can't stand next to moose? They are so cute as Bullwinkle!
9 - I can't take the fawn home, its lost!

Feel free to add.

I think you must have misunderstood something here…no offence intended, I'm saying listen to those with more experience, same as you. I plan to orbit the sun a bit longer hopefully, I'm 30 at the moment.
I am 77 and liked the comment, personally. A lot of truth to it. I jumped the paddies in the Nam and decades in LE, survived gunfights, knife attacks and more fights than I can recall. So, yes, experience counts.

I use to fight before having to go into the Army. After I came out. Fighting put on the side. Only fights after that was 2 men, and put one man head into a wall. They started it, and I finish it. I am even today afraid I would view it as an attach as a life or death problem. I avoid places that that problem might arise. It's not wise to mess with a combat vet. They view things differently, than the average person on the street does.

I was taught....on any game animal...... approach from their backside.....touch the barrel of your gun to animals eye..... if any life is displayed...... back off..... wait or shoot again....
I,ve used that practice faithfully...for 65+yrs.
Reminding me of the time my older brother took me squirrel hunting. There were,nt enough guns in the house so I being around 8yrs. was the designated game carrier.....my big brother now 82yrs. allowed me to wear his game vest....big thrill....
we shot to eat.mainly headshots. with .22,s.....
first squirrel dropped at the shot,he picked it up and tucked it away in the vest he let me wear.....
about 10 minutes later.....I felt something scratching my back......!!!...I shucked the vest, big brother stomped on squirrels head.... his shot had just creased the forehead of the animal...temporarily knocking it out....
Good no cost learning lesson.....
