Mysterious Barn find , scope

Found in barn , 15-1/2 " long , straight crosshairs , .numbers on front ring start at
50' and go up to 1000 yds.
No name visible , looks kinda like a weaver?

It looks like an old Weaver to me... doesn't say El Paso, TX anywhere? The adjustable ring on the objective is for paralax adjustment. Very interesting find... Hope some of the other old guys on the forum have more information on it than I. DD62

Whoa......"other old guys", a little respect here!!!!!!;)😂 I hope you are talking from a position or experience because only "old guys" can call themselves "old guys"!!!!😂 I totally agree with you about the scope being an old Weaver scope. I just got through playing with one exactly like the scope in the photo. That scope was purchased "new" as was the 1956 Winchester model 70. The front paralax objective had the same lettering and configuration as did the adjusting knobs and the scope adjustment caps. Due to the lack of identification writing on this scope it could have come as a scope that was part of a "rifle/scope" combination, the scope not having any identification marking's on it. This "ole" guy has seen that in his matured acquisition of experience!!😂😂
