Best hunting scope

Agreed. Did a lot of research (with with cost as a factor) and landed on the NX8. Still spent plenty, but the weight/durability/clarity is excellent. Very happy with this choice. Connatter you would not second guess this choice once you had it in hand.
Did you get the 4x32 first or second focal plane? Thanks

Can you name another scope that has the same quality, durability, tracking record, and glass that weighs 23oz?
There are certainly better scopes, but it's not opinion that the March is the best in that weight class it's a fact
I need to take a better look at them. I guess you have a couple of them are they pretty rock solid? Do they have a covered or locking windage and zero stop? Where would the best place to buy one be? Thanks

I have owned a March 2.5x25x52 with MOA-MTR-3 reticle, used for 1000 yard hunting/shooting for about four years. The MTR-3 reticle is uncluttered, and nicely weighted for precision shooting to 1000+ yards.
It's compact, light(24OZ), and has performed reliably. IMO, it has displayed mechanical performance and optical quality comparable to my Nightforce NXS/ATACR's…..Besides the light weight and compact size, the features I find attractive are; the design produces very little low sun glare, low profile/ergonomic turrets, the fast ratio parallax control, and simple zero stop design.

My primary concern with the compact and F March scopes is mounting space for a LA with integrated bases. I guess I won't know until the rifle is complete. Getting appropriate mounting for good eye relief can be a challenge with integrated bases.

Just dealt with this on my LA. The March F fit perfect. I don't know how the compact would fare though.

Indeed. One of many reasons to consider a pic rail.

Thanks for your input on this, does that scope have a covered windage dial? Right now I think it's between that scope ore the NF nx8
