Seems like a good price to try one out at $400

Like mine. It's a solid piece of equipment and it's priced just right. I'v an LSS and the Oryx is a better form factor.

Just got an Oryx for my Savage 12 in 300WSM. Got to say I love that chassis!! I have the rifle in a McMillan A5 Adjustable and I just thought that was a sweet shooting rig. Hands down right now I like the Oryx much better. Had the McMillan for about 8 years, but I wanted to run magazines and to try the chassis. Glad I did. Will keep putting it through the paces and if I have issues you better believe I'll be posting them!

I have one for savage and one for 700 clone, both long actions. I'm happy with what I got for the money. Enough polymer panel to keep my hands off the cold aluminum when hunting, m-lok to attach pic rail for my bipod. They aren't light, but I knew that going in. I just shut up and carry the dang thing up the hill.

I have built another hunting rifle on MDT's HNT26. Feels like a feather by comparison.
