Just got back from a local state park that has a large lake. I take my Labrador there to burn some energy swimming occasionally, especially when it's hot or I'm just feeling too lazy to walk her.
Today I noticed a guy watching Dixie (my dog) retrieving the dummy that I was throwing out as far as I can. He approached and complimented on how well Dixie could swim and I said, well she is a lab. He looked confused and said that he also had a lab but he was scared to bring him to the lake because he didn't have a chance to teach it to swim yet! He then asked me where my dog went to swimming classes because he'd like to take his there since mine was such a good swimmer!
So all you dog owners, where did your dog go to swimming classes? 😂

My wife took our dog to a local lady with an indoor pool for swimming lessons.

She does water physical therapy for dogs too.

Just put up a pool for Cassie our Great Pyrenees (she is 12 weeks old going to be a monster) & Samson
Our neighbor has a 3 area pond and then we also have a reservoir behind our house.
Oreo or cat wants to jump in when we are in the pool.

I feed bad for the dog. There are certainly some dumb dog owners out there. I was in a local feed store last week and saw a one of those pop up displays with brochures advertising a dog poop cleanup service. Half of the brochures had been taken. Hard to imagine paying someone to teach your dog to swim or come to your house to pick up their poop.

Gee Wiz
We offer that service around here in the GA Back country to clean up after Brandon... . Haven't had any business lately, but with the Brandon Admin going on we figured that there would be a lot of "Dog Business" to clean up after everywhere.
Not teaching Swimming YET - that would be extra. We figured if a Dog doesn't know how to swim he/she/they PRONOUN Specific that must be a Liberal Dog. Out of my 66 years have not yet to see a dog that can't swim.
OH Buy The Way we do train Liberals to Swim!.
