I have been looking at glass for my next rifle builds and have ran across Tract Optics. I do not see these are in stores for me to check out before purchasing, so I figured I would ask the question here. Are they clear on all Magnification setting, no distortion on high power? Do they track good? I am looking at the higher end models the Toric UHD 4-20x50 30mm and the Toric 4.5-30x56 34mm, the most expensive glass I own is a Vortex Viper Gen I 6-24x50 I do like the scope, but if I can save a few more dollars and get something better I would do that. If you have experience with these scopes I would love to hear about it. I was looking at Athlon Cronus and Aries ETR until I ran across the Tract Toric.

I have two of the Tract 3-15x50
Absolutely love them!! The glass will be tough to beat without spending a bunch more money. So far the adjustments and zero retention are perfect.
Will buy more as needed

The optical quality compared to vortex viper isn't even a comparison, the Tract is night and day brighter and clearer. I have the UHD ELR and so far it's great, no real hard use though. It does tunnel a little under maybe 8x, it tracks perfectly and is super crisp. I really enjoy using it.

I bought the 4-20x50 30mm. I've handled it and looked through it. Very impressive so far. It is mounted, but too cold for range time, so I have not shot it.

Tract seems to be getting really good reviews. I looked through a couple of their scopes and liked the glass. The only issue I would have is that they are such a new company I wonder about how great a value there would be in their scopes since there's just no way of knowing if they'll still be around five, ten, twenty years or more from now.

The Toric Series according to their promo stuff is all made in Japan with Japanese glass which is among the best glass that can be bought so that speaks very well of them.

I would see their products as a gamble but you are getting a lot for the money right now and if they do make it in the US market five or ten years from now they'll no doubt be at the same price point as much more established companies like NF and Leupold.

What would you guys that own them and have looked through them compare the glass to, is it as good as Swarovski or Khales, I know these two Euro brands are double in price compared to the Tract Toric. I just have a hard time buying a scope that cost as much or more than some custom rifles, the cost of Tract top line causes me to pause and think hard before pulling the trigger. I have only had a cheap Air Rifle scope fail on me for not keeping zero on the air rifle, all my rifle scopes hold zero with no problems.

I like the way they look on a rifle with a satin stainless barrel.

I don't have any experience with their scopes, but their binos compare more than favorably with Leupy's BX4 binos.
