The time has come…

7PRC…7westerner…they'll all be coming soon. The 7saum is gaining too much of a cult following. The funny thing is, when the 7PRC hits all you'll hear about is how amazing it is, how efficient it is, how it's the best thing ever.

Oh boy
I don't care for the 6.5prc case. I thought immediately when I realized how short it was how I felt. Same way as the WSSM line.
I've studied the 6.5prc ballistics, actually have a Savage Switchback on law away in a 6.5prc. I will immediately rip the barrel off and sell it and the stock and the trigger. Then chamber it for a worthy cartridge in 7mm or .308 cal
To the Op- sorry I have added to the derailment from your original intentions but I can bring it back around by saying the cartridge I'm turning this Switchback into is gonna be a SAUM based case. 😎

People wanting to do a a budget build and have a semi custom gun can get that whole rifle for $550 from Sportsman's Warehouse. Sell the stuff they don't want and get into a real nice rifle for under $1K. That ridiculously large scope smashing bolt knob has to go to. But that's a cheap fix

I've always wanted a 7mm saum. Brass supply has always kept me from plunging. I absolutely HATE hunting for components (like we have been doing the past year and a half lol). My 7mm rem mag is shooting a 180 eld at 3043 fps with 68 grains of powder so im currently happy with that.

Id really like to see the SAUM more standardized. It doesn't get anywhere near the press it deserves

Frankly, Remington should re-introduce the 7 SAUM with a longer throat and 8 twist barrel.

If someone calls the 7PRC efficient, my head will explode! 30% more powder for 10% more velocity!

BTW, I own a 28 Sherman Magnum, so I know how easy it is to get sucked in!
