Just curious what interesting dishes people have made. We all do steaks, roasts, burger, etc.

What about liver, heart, or other things? There are other parts and pieces and curious what others do.

My most interesting dish was bighorn sheep rocky mountain oysters. These were very good! I packed 'em out as evidence of sex so figured why not cook cook 'em?

Where I grew up we ate all that all the time plus lungs, head, including eyes, brains and tongue...

I have tried liver, tongue, and heart. I will eat liver and onions, but tongue and heart weren't my thing. I would certainly try them again before writing them off, but would want someone experienced in preparing them show me how.

I have a buddy that states he has a good heart recipe but my last coupe game animals didn't have much worth saving from the heart so it didn't want to pack out scraps on that.

Liver, kidneys and heart, cooked together with onions, tomatoes and wine! Hot bread and a bottle of good red wine! Hhmmm

My wife just fried heart in flour like chicken with garlic salt it's chewy but I like my meat really well done so a little tough doesn't bother me I quit eating deer liver back in the 80s when we had some deer die off from nitrogen poisoning from eating treated crops whether true or not we quit eating it. Heart is a muscle vs the other organs which are not. You have to start the heart first, halfway cooked before you ad the rest, or just cook heart alone and simmer it longer.
