Hunting Rifle: Anyone Else Have No Desire for a Silencer?

I don't own a suppressor yet, currently have one ordered and one month down on the wait. From what I can see they still require single hearing protection to shoot? I will probably wear single at the range, maybe none while hunting. Right now on all my braked rifles I have to wear double hearing protection to shoot, single just doesn't cut it.
I made the mistake of getting caught up in the moment and touching a round off with my braked 300 WSM back in 2017 while hunting. I was next to a rock wall and the sound reverberated off the wall into my left ear. It caused physical pain and permanent hearing damage. The picture below is a hearing test I had this year. The doc said without even asking she knows I'm right handed and I shoot guns. I'll never make that mistake again!
Your hearing test looks a lot better then mine.

Is there a prize awarded for the thread with the most posts? We may have a winner here. Now I am going to have to find another $1200+ to buy a suppressor. I hope I don't see another rifle I want while making the purchase.
Build your own for $450 ($250 materials plus the $200 for the tax stamp).

Here is a 28 Nosler shooting a 195 Berger Elite over 86.0gr RL33 @ 3068fps on steel at 1008 yards with a Silencerco Omega 300 attached.

Anyone that shoots a cartridge like the 28 Nosler knows they are no joke. Add a brake, and they are obnoxious. All the other shooting you hear is from another shooting platform about 150' away.

There are certain topics on any gun forum that by nature will take more turns than the Colorado River.
Brakes, Silencers, cartridges, scopes, lots of passionate topics to get riled up about. Life is easier when one doesn't try push their opinions on others, and I find it easier never to ask for opinions either. Make a choice and live with it.
Other than committing felonies and getting caught, we can back out of the majority of decisions we make. The ability to laugh at those poor choices is what gives us character, lol

Kind of apples to oranges, but...
Sorry for the stupid sounding laugh and the foul language at the end of each video.....

6CM suppressed vs .300NMI braked

HAHAHA! What a great example. Now, someone sit here and try to argue the fact that that HUGE dust cloud in the second video is super awesome to deal with.
Yeah. Blew dust all over my other rifles. After that shot, I went and moved them all back. And that is NOT a radial brake, side port only.
