I have an opportunity to pick up a sako 7.82 Laz. Warbird but I know the brass has some issues, so I want to make sure I'm getting into somthing I can make work for me instead of paying exorbitant prices for sub-par brass. I'd rebarrel but the current Lilja is said to only have ~20 rounds through it, so rechamber seems smart.
Thanks in advance!
Also any warbird brass info is appreciated!

I haven't had any issues with Brass. It's made by Hornady. I'm getting 8 plus firings before primer pockets are too large, then you can shrink down the primer pockets.

I'd keep the Warbird, great round and very under appreciated

Definitely appreciate that testament, how do you shrink your pockets?

Have finished the chambers of several 7.82 Warbird chambers, I can't think of any case that fat, so I don't know of any option but to keep the barrel as is. Buy some cases and try it out. Use a Hornady .30 seating die that can be used over any case. Read the directions to avoid crimping. Find a used sizing die on E-Bay. See what the barrel can do. Sounds exciting to me.
