Im looking for a new factory rifle in the 6.5 CM The one issue I have is that im 6' 5" so a LOP of 13.5 is like shooting a youth rifle. I can do with a 13.75 but not less than that.
Just like everyone else on this site the most important thing is accuracy. Id like to spend up to $1800 any help would be appreciated

Go to Brownells and buy a howa 1500 barreled action for a pittance, it will shoot lights out, guaranteed.

Then contact whatever manufacturer that makes gear for giants and have them construct you a stock from a redwood tree or a brontosaurus skeleton.

Have you looked at the Sako S20? The deal they are offering now with both stocks included is pretty awesome. I'm a couple inches shorter than you but my arms are long for my height and I add slip on limbsaver pads over the stock pad to help with the length and recoil. Never considered a redwood tree or brontosaurus skeleton but they would make a cool stock albeit a bit soft.

Brownells sells spacer kits to lengthen the length of pull. Not ideal but an option.

Just watched a review of the Benelli LUPO 6.5CM comes from the factory with a 13.75 LOP anyone heard anything about the LUPO

At $1600 thats not bad............ I was looking at a Cooper Timberline but at $3500 cant really talk myself into it.

The other Rifle that im considering is the CZ 557 6.5 CM it has a 13.75 LOP and is the same weight as the Benelli but is half the price. Big Differance. Ive had 4 CZ 527's in the past and everyone of them shot under and right at .5 MOA at 100 yards, of course that was with my handloads. My 17 Hornet shoots 5 shot groups at .387 20gr Nosler HP and Vit 120 powder cronoed at 3859 One heck of a ground squirrel rifle.
Now im assuming that with load development Im going to get that with the CZ557 Does anyone own a 557?

If I remember right, my BIL's stock Tikka 7 Rem Mag has a 14" LOP. Pull a Tikka off the shelf and measure

Tikka T-3 Lite, 24", SS "Lefty" in, 6.5 Creed for ME and am getting, Sub 3/4 MOA with first, "thrown together" loads ( NO Tuning, yet ! ).
I Fully expect this 7.5 pound, Rifle to be Sub 1/2 MOA when "Tuned" loads, are used ( like, my other 2,.. ARE ! )
YUP,.. They ARE,... Second to, NONE !
My,. Third Tikka !
Add,.. Spacers, a Limb Saver, an Elay Precision Trigger Spring and make, a Kydex Cheek Riser to fit, your larger Frame !
