What rimfire?

I have Vudoo, Anschutz, RPRrimfire, Tikka. Have shot others. Best value for dollar I have seen so far in your budget range is the Tikka T1x with threaded barrel. Add a trigger spring kit. Add an extended bolt to get more of the big rifle feel. Then add the KRG Bravo stock to make it easier to shoot and add more big rifle feel. Mine shoots awesome and it didn't take any tinkering to do so. The more I shoot it the better it gets. The one Bergara I shot didn't shoot as well but the stock didn't adjust/ fit me and didn't ride the bags well so prob not a fair comparison. Just me and my opinion.

I bought a steel bergara B14r and we had a total blast with it all summer long. Untouched and shot great. Shoots center-x ammo real well. No regrets..

None of my mags, factory or Mack Bros, feed center x well, like the bullet is slightly longer, No big deal as it shot 5 diff ammos equally inside 100 yards, SK Standard Plus in the Bergara will shoot alongside my Rim x using center x to 350 yards and considerably cheaper.

I have factory and Mack Bros mag both. I have had very few cycling issues in 1500 - 2000 rounds fired (once in a while it will keep an empty inside the action but that's likely operator error). We've shot eley, lapua, SK and cheapy ammo..

I bought a CZ457 varmint earlier this year and I'm really happy with it. I shot a 1/4" 5 shot group at 40 yards. My most accurate 22 so far. Good luck with your search.

Crap, it all has to be mag height, I probably won't mess with it as the rest feeds fine, thanks for the insight.

Mine shot so good out of the box, i wouldnt touch the trigger or stock bolt torque. I put a 20moa rail on i had on bench, tightened it down, installed my S&B PM2 and it shot lights out...
I forgot, I did put a Eric Cortana adapter and EC Tuner on after we'd shot it for 2 months. It didn't make my lot of center-x shoot better but allowed me to "tune in" some other ammo's real well...

Ship sailed on torque with a new trigger. I went 40moa base with a Kahles 525i and can dial to 500 at 4700 feet and above 60 degrees.
I need huge steel at 400 and beyond, both rifles

Favorites:
CZ 452 - Squirrel hunting - light target shooting (Most accurate for cost, I've found)
Remington 40X - Full size, single feed- Benchrest accuracy at 50 and 100. Fun to shoot farther
Vudoo - Heavy barreled, 700 Footprint, repeater - PRS practice

Bergara or Tikka might bridge the gap between cost of Vudoo and the CZ (Best value) if I could find left hand models.

I bought a Tikka for my wife because it mirrored the T3 she hunted big game with and it got her out shooting more. I wasn't disappointed. It shot very well and was a nice carry. She came to the range with me more often to shoot it and even suggested days at the range when I hadn't planned on it, and she began shooting her T3 more while there. It was a win/win deal and the accuracy and function of the Tikka was flawless.

Own three CZ,s , the trigger is fully adjustable. You can make it very, with a capital V good. So don't discount the CZ because someone says it needs a better trigger.

If none of those appeal to you should consider old school and look for a Remington 513T Matchmaster. Weaver makes mounts for those rifles I believe it is the 48044 mounts not quite sure in my old my old age. This is a 10 shot group with Redfield peep sights at 50 yards.

Can the 10/22 run a suppressor? I love those guns, save the money from a more expensive rifle and use it to buy bricks of .22lr when you can while having the most aftermarket modifiable .22 on earth. I'm just too basic I suppose in my tastes but a) i miss my ruger 10/22, never should have sold it - on the to do list, b) more money for ammo is a good thing, and c) no other .22 had as much aftermarket support and thus possible configurations.

Of course that's all moot if it's not a suppressor-friendly proposition, I know basically nothing about suppressors.

That doesn't sound like it wasn't tinkered with. By the time I do all that, I might as well save up and invest in a Vudoo or RimX.

I love old school rifles like that, but I wouldn't want to cut and thread one of those for my suppressor. I had Dad's old Mossberg 44 growing up, my nephew uses it now in 4H.

Yes it can, and the one I have does. It just needs standard or high velocity ammunition. You have to manually cycle the action if you run subsonic ammunition in my rifle.
