So my dad just recently decided he wanted to get into long range shooting and start hunting again with me! Setting him up with a Fierce Carbon Rival in 28 Nosler. I already have a 28 nosler and all the components, dies, ext.

I've decided to shoot the 169 HH at 3280fps this season. So we were going to shoot for a similar load with his gun when it comes in. Deer & Elk out to 800 yards. I can tell he's not completely sold on these light fast bullets.... but I am haha. He's used to that 210gr. bullet going 2500FPS type of stuff.

So I was trying to google videos of hammer bullets on game, and there's only two videos specifically labelled that way. Steve's hunt in africa and a bull elk. I'm sure there are many others, but they just don't have hammer bullets in the title. Could anyone please link them to me on here if they're on youtube? Or just text them to me (I phone) if they're videos in your camera roll. That would be very cool. Thank you! 209-663-8120

I may be able to dig up a few not n the tube and post. I don't put them on but have them for personal. Check out outdoor Edventures on YouTube he has a ton of videos with hammers on pigs. Best channels I've found he even cuts open to shoe performance of bullet

Huntnful, what load are you using with your 28 Nosler and 169 HH? I have a 28 Nosler and have those same HH, I will be setting it up in a week or two, I was going to try H1000, but I have Retumbo, RL33 and N570 as well.

Sorry for the late reply! I just got back from a 7 day hunt in Idaho! Killed a bull and big buck with the 169's. They did great!

I'm using N570. 88gr with a 215M and peterson brass. I'd definitely start around 83gr. though. My barrel is about shot out so my bullets are seated WAY out of the case.

I wonder if they had to change their underware after that hog was shot and came running at them? My cousin shot a big boar in FL and it charged him-he tried climbing the nearest tree!

The one facing shot was a 300WSM with the 152AH and the rest were 375RUM with light weights
