Hi All,

My name is Corbin and I'm the new brand manager for Oryx (from MDT). I'll be looking help anyone that has questions or interests in using the Oryx chassis for hunting as well as any of the upcoming products we may be releasing (new stocks/chassis and bipods). I work with MDT so if any questions pop up that I can't answer, someone here can!

A bit about myself. I live in Chilliwack, BC, Canada (home of MDT). I hunt mostly big game here where and when I can. Moose, deer, elk, and hopefully one day soon a sheep hunt. I reload for 7mm rem mag. Usually I do solo overnight backpack hunts in the area around where I live so I like to get into the gear a bit too.

We make chassis systems for many of the common actions. Left hand models as well. I haven't had the luck (or time) yet to take a one yet. Closest I've got was a cow on a draw a couple years ago.

We do have a new chassis coming soon. 1 more unnamed product in development. I personally think there could be room for a lightweight hunting chassis as well, similar to the HNT26 from MDT.

The .257 WBTY is a pretty slick chambering. Unfortunately, I am still in the process of barrel break-in.

Have one Oryx, added the nuts (edit: thumb screws) and stock length shims, love it. Might need another Oryx, or XRS, or ???? for a R700 rebuild!
