Hearing Pro: Need Help on sub $200 Hunting Hearing Pro

IMO sound suppression is the best hearing protection period. You might still need some in or over ear protection with supersonic bullets, but basic foam plugs work great with a can. Buy good ear pro now, then go buy a multi cal suppressor rated for the hottest round you want to shoot. Go shoot until your ATF forms clear and wonder why you waited so long to get one.

Alright children, can we be Gentlemen??? We all have opinions. Our hearing is something we need to protect, and should do so! Personally I have 3 pairs of older Sonic II's that work pretty well to use around loud noises (range, etc.). But I have seen shooters use cigarette filters, foam plugs, Industrial over-ear cups, and many other types to help protect their ears. At military ranges we used foam plugs with "cups" also, and I still have a little loss in my right ear! Few shooters make it into their 60's without some hearing loss!

Thank you.

Let me know if you find that button and I'll tell Walkers. According to them the 1st gen will not work with the new app and the old app no longer works (also According to Walkers).

I happen to be an electrical engineer. I've worked on Bluetooth problems. Get the manual and press the button for about 10 seconds. They are always backwards compatible. If not, you bought the wrong product, but I don't think so. It's a few bucks. Get over it.
I think the issue is something other than Bluetooth - it's the SW. His gen device will not work with the new app (SW), and the old app (SW) no longer works. The two devices can likely talk to each other bc, as you said, BT is backwards compatible. But that isn't the issue.

If you would listen / read more carefully instead of…well, you get the idea. It is written out in his quote above.
