Brass Drying Rack

In Wallyworld with wife looking for craft projects for granddaughters and stumbled across this thread spool rack organizer that takes up very little room and made of wood so cannot cause any issues with metal. Looks like a perfect drying rack for brass after liquid cleaning processes. It will hold 60 pieces of brass in vertical so allow really great drying. Of course the one I picked up was missing a peg!

I was thinking of placing over hot air grate to improve drying simple. Add moisture back into house! Sounds good to me!

Lol. I've got one of them werligigs that flings water everywhere when you spin it. Does a good job. Just do it in the shower.

I used to use something like this. It's for drying baby bottles and things like that. A repurpose from when the kids were little. It holds a lot of brass.

Now I use a cookie sheet and oven at 225 degrees (convection setting for some air movement).

My kid is now 38 and we didn't have these "fancy gadgets" back then. The drying rack was towel on sink!

That's pretty cool. I could use it to comb the 37 hairs on my head. I lost most of it trying to figure out how to make rifles shoot. My wife caused the rest.

I just use the plastic racks inside from the Nosler shells that I shot to get my brass.

I put it in a Pyrex casserole dish in the oven…turn to 200, turn off, put brass in. Do once more if needed, or put outside in the sun if it is summer. The drying racks sound like a lot of work that isn't really needed, but I know everyone has their own method and I'm not saying mine is better.

Good ideas here. I was going to hang them on the clothesline, but couldn't figure how to clip the clothes pin on them.
