The hard part is the attachment to them, but at the time needed to sell on the get something else.
Even harder than the attachment is the the prices I sold them for, now if I had them to sell they would bring in up to four Xs+ as much.

Savage 24S, .22/20 gauge. First gun I bought, when I was 11. Sold it when I was 17 to buy a .22 magnum. I told the guy that bought it if in the future he wanted to sell it to let me know. I finish my enlistment, go back to my home town and ask him if he was interested in selling. He said he had just sold it a couple of weeks prior.
A couple of others, pre64 Model 94 30-30 and a S&W Mountain Gun .44 magnum.

These are ones I regret. The 586 gave me the most heartburn. I traded it for a Colt 1911 to a co-worker. Two weeks later I asked to trade back. He refused said it was the smoothest revolver he ever shot. That's why I wanted to trade back. It never occurred to me to buy another 586. I wanted MY 586 back.
Years later I found one on GB. I contacted the seller. We had a video call so I could see it in real time. I bought it on the spot.
I had my 'smith install a target hammer and trigger, he made a couple of other minor repairs and it was ready to go.
Its set up the same as my original. The action is not as smooth as my original 586 as I recall. Oh well live and learn.
I had several that were stolen;
Colt SAA .45 refinished by Colt in Royal Blue
Winchester 94 .32 WCF
Remington 870 Hunt/Defender combo
I have a very stout gun safe now. Wish i had it back then.

OD Green AI AWM in 300WM topped with NXS 5.5-22X-56.
Another was a 6 inch blued Python. Was not looking to sell it, but a buddy from the same unit I was in just have to have it. Sold it to him for what I paid for - 750. That was 5 years ago. I don't make profit off my friends.

My Remington Model 8 in 25 rem , another one in 35 Remington. Miss my Savage 1899,99's I had as well. But I sold them to put towards the down payment on our house and 32 acres so they went to a good cause.

I have sold one gun that worked in my entire life and I regret it to this day. I bought it because I had it sold for double my money before I even picked it up a Beretta 96. Only reason I didn't want it was I had shot it several times and just hated the DAO trigger on a semi auto. If I had it today I could have doubled what I sold it for, and better yet I would own one more pistol than I do now. Who knew a Beretta 96 would appreciate like a Winchester 1895?

Now a days I regret selling all of the fire arms I've sold but the top of the list would be a remington 700 270 win that's was my dad that I sold for him then bought it back but then sold when I was in need of cash the second would be a ruger american go wild model in 308 win.for a budget rifle that was the easiest handling and carrying rifle I've ever owned

My very first .22lr handgun purchased late 80's.
Open sight or scope fit my hand like a glove.
An Early 8 3/8" S&W .22LR with target grips and factory grips, had the original sights with, a 2X Leopold scope.
The Blue box with metal clips, all the tools and paperwork. Bought and sold several since because none felt the same or shot as well.
Only thing left is a picture.
