.25 cal 131g .330G7 bullet from Blackjack Bullets for you to drool on ...

You might wanna not go up to 56 grains of h4831. That's a awful stout load
Ya kinda figured. Thought I'd work my way up in half grain jumps. Just looking for around 3000 fps. Probably can get that around 50 grains. Curious to see where pressure starts showing up. I'm guessing close to 56

I'm betting before you get to 56. My 25-06 shows pressure around 54.5-55
Appreciate the response. I'm also thinking around 54-54.5 will be max. I pulled the bullets from the 55/55.5/56 grain loads. Max is 54.5 now if I even get that far. I'll be moving on to RL26 and the 131s after I run the first 50-60 rounds thru it. Which RL26 load did your 25-284 rifle prefer ? I'd I didn't already build mine, yours wouldn't still be for sale.

Got to 56 with a little hard bolt lift. Seemed like accuracy was around 52.5 bit still darn good up to 56. I'm using the 52.5 load for the 117s. Half Inch group with no effort on multiple targets. Gonna try H1000 and RL26 next with the 131 BJs.

Well, my rifle didn't care for the Hornady 110ELDs much. At least not with H4831. The Sierra 117 SBTs loved it. The 120 Speer FB bullets ran good also. The only groups that weren't acceptable were from the ELDs from .69 - 1." The other two were all well under an inch with the best being .49". Not great but it's early. Today was more getting rounds down the barrel so when I do some real load work, I don't have to clean the barrel between groups.
