Reloading for a 6.5 Grendel

Ain't that the truth. There a lot of powder/Bullet combination that will work. I'm currently trying to narrow down to 1 or 2 loads per caliber. I have several bottles of powder that I've loaded 10 rounds or less from when experimenting that I will probably never use again.

Quickload has helped reduce that issue quite a bit.
I've been thinking the same thing lol! I just got to convince myself "all I need is a couple of different projectiles and I'll be good", but never seem to get around it!😂

Tell me about it. It's a bad (but good in times like these) habit to have.

H335 and TAC are very accurate but slow for me in 22" Ruger American Predator bolt gun and 18" AR both with 123 ELD-M giving me max velocity around 2,400 for both rifles.

I assume diminishing returns at a certain barrel length around 18 or 20" probably is to be expected?

I haven't been able to get the same accuracy yet but starting to find some promise with Leverevolution for the bolt rifle in the 2,600 neighborhood with the 123's. CFE and Leverevolution show identical velocities and similar accuracy for me.

I've been lucky and been able to snag a lot of powder and primers so I'm all set. Maybe one more brick of fed 215's then I'll be set.
I got a notification and managed to snag a brick of 215 GMM primers at midway today. They lasted less than 5 minutes.

I paid more than I wanted to but that is the market currently and unfortunately.

I am wondering if the price will drop back down, if they are able to keep them in stock pass 1 day... The Pawn Shop that had the CCI SRP Magnum, he mentioned he paid with hazmat 13.00 hundred, he figured two dollars a 100 would be a good price until people do not purchase them anymore, then he would probably take a loss.. I wanted to buy 1000, but figured I would go with 500 until I get all my supplies for the Grendel. The last primers I purchased from him was Federal LPM and paid 35.00 for 1000. I do see Midway has the SRP mag like I purchased for 83.00 per 1k with Hazmat of 13.00 96.00 for one brick. Hopefully I have enough primers for everything until the shelves are restocked, maybe the price will come down, but I doubt it will be much.
