Crossbow Shooters - What are you shooting?

Excalibur Micro 360TD Pro, use NAP Killzone and similar Ravin 100gr, or same weight Slick Trick and Montec fixed blade heads. I've only shot the 16" Quills through it, but will be working with heavier bolts/points this season.

I got the first Matrix Mad Max edition from danny miller, already had the AP-Snow, sadly I sold the snow, but the mad max will live forever in my cave. My Dynamic Duo!

I've owned most of the premium bows over the years after age and shoulders made me hang up my Hoyt! But never found a perfect bow. I would buy 2 or 3 of the latest and greatest every year the past 10 years, Excals, Ten Points, Scorpyds, Strikers, Native, Darton, Mission. Was always looking for something better than the Excalibur Matrix 380, never could, so like with my rifles, I turned to a real bowsmith!

But as I get older and weight becomes a more important,,, the Mad Max sees less use with "L'il Sassy" getting most use! Like most things, if you want it right you have to have it built your way! 7.2lbs in full dress, 26" overall length, and just 15 1/4 wide UNCOCKED! But no slouch shooting the top end of my sweet spot for speed with forgiveness 17" shafts @ 417 grains running 374 fps. it does shoot under 3/4" groups at 50 yards, and quieter than all the scorpyds and Ten Point Nytro's I owned! with a sweet first edition Single stage Triggertech at 2.5 lbs and zero creep, it is a pure meat maker.

Uncocked

Is this a Burky special? Nice

Barnett Whitetail Hunter STR.
22" Spynal Tapp Big Game bolts, 600 grains
200 grain Grizzlystik Samurai broadheads
800 total grains.

Oh come on. If you r on x bow nation I've seen that work on scorpyd sub forum. Its beautiful and work impeccable. Congrats
Trust me Their are no Scorpyd parts involved,,, if there were I'd not be getting the performance I am! But does use Horton and Excalibur parts. The Excalibur parts in my opinion are why it shoots so good. It will deliver better than MOA accuracy out to 70 yards.

Since I only trust any arrow out to 40 yards, 50 on extreme occasions, I will be mounting a Burris FF III with 3moa dot soon. That will put it under 6LBS, and kill anything out to 40 yards without hold overs. 50 yards should be no problem with top of shoulder hold on any deer that is not on alert, the only way I would trust any under 800 fps weapon for a clean kill that far out!

She is a beauty. Tim did/does great work. Congrats

I shoot a killer instinct Z355. I tuned it myself. Trigger, safety, alignment, and no sharp edges. Perfect trigger and pretty dang quiet for a crossbow. It shoots into the same hole as far as I have cared to shoot it. Killed a pile of deer with it already. Awesome bow. It was a gift from a dear friend of mine.

Ravin R26. All stock. Was 400 fps last year, this fall I noticed the groups lower. Checked speeds, went down to 380. Assuming the limbs and strings took a set??
Anyways, very satisfied overall. This was my first attempt at a 100 yard group after sightin.

Need to get a better front/rear setup for it and try again.
