Let’s see those Smokeless builds!!

Hey, folks! Just got my first smokeless muzzleloader into action today (100 yard sight-in) and since the season is upon us I thought it would be cool to start a 'smokeless thread'. SO, LET'S SEE THOSE BUILDS ! Mine is a Jeff Hankins conversion from CVA Scout .45-70 to smokeless muzzleloader sporting Leupold Back Country rings and a Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x40 (thanks @muskieman223 ). Stock and fore-end custom Cerakote in Kryptek by 'Ricco' at Black Dove Customs here in Kentucky and the Kydex cheek rest is from 'Matthew's Fabrication'.
For now I'm shooting Fury 275 grain Star Tip MZ's and 275 grain Star Tip MZ '2P's on top of 65 grains of IMR 4198 and a wool wad. Will update with target results as time permits. So, here's mine….Now, show me yours!!

I'd love to build and employ a rig like that.

In Colorado we can't have optics on muzzle loaders, so exceptionally limited.

If we ever update that reg, I'll probably dip my toes into these waters.

I only fired 5 shots from mine today….the 5th being dead on at 100 yards, but it was pretty dang fun. Definitely a learning curve to these little things. I may end up filling the hollow buttstock with something to add a little more weight. Can't shoot these particular conversions like a regular rifle…gotta HANG ON to them.

Here is mine I just got back. Defiance rebel, Brux 20" barrel, Manner EH4 stock jewell trigger. Shoots Pittman 278gr bullet 2830 FPS. First target 3@100 second is 4@200.

I don't have a picture handy but Luke Horak at Arrowhead Rifles fixed one that another builder built for me. The other builder is now out of business (for good reason), but Luke was able to take what I had and make it a tack driver. I would not think twice about using Luke again in the future. His gun is a pleasure to shoot and I can regularly hit steel at 500 yards.

I have a .50 cal. Lyman Great Plains, I use lead balls, 80 grains of black powder & Iron sights. A wonderful deer rifle for Ohio or anywhere else where the hunts are 100 yards or less. Stock photo, mine's identical.
