Good day sir. We also have many different ranging devices, included a couple RF binos. But I will not make absolute statements like this. In fact, statements as such on subjective and perspective issues are the least credible. It all depends on what features and capabilities are important to the user as to what is best for him/her. Personally, the kilos haven't met my expectations and feature demands. But they do the job great for you. That doesn't necessarily make either better. To the OP, don't take folks word on here as the gospel. There's a lot of bias to sort through on internet postings. Folks can write anything with almost no accountability. Decide the parameters and features that are most important to you. Educate yourself on available features. Get behind some models in varied conditions if you can and try them out. Inside a sporting goods store doesn't quite cut it. If you can find buddies with various models where you can get behind them in real field conditions, that's the best. Many will get the job done.

What do you want it to do for you?
I personally like quality and reliability and will pay for it. Something that will get me a reliable reading in bad weather and soft targets quickly at longer hunting ranges. My older GW BR2's have the on-board ballistic software which is very good, but they are a bit weak when it comes to reliable readings in non-ideal conditions. The Leica 3200 RF binos are very nice (excellent glass, a very powerful & fast RF) and they give the option to range while glassing. This I like, and it's usually good enough for most hunting scenarios if you have a range card taped to your rifle like I do. However, for very precise firing solutions in varied environments (i.e. shooting small rodents/varmints at crazy distances), you almost need to pair most RF's with a Kestrel. I like things simple when I'm in the field. Recently ordered 2 of the Revic BR4's to try. I really like the 10x power and the improved capabilities it offers. The features it brings to the table on paper are impressive in a small package, including the external temp sensor, station pressure, compass, altimeter, inclinometer, and the ability to program 10 different ballistic profiles. And being able to function in the field without messing with Bluetooth is good for me. What I'm hearing are good things about it, so my expectations are that it will make the grade for me as well. If all you need is a reliable, accurate range, many good options abound. Good firing solutions is another whole matter. I can report back later if you're not in a hurry, but there is a decent amount of objective, credible positive feedback already.
Leica, Swarovski, Vectronix, Leupold, Sig, Vortex, Bushnell, Nikon all offer decent rangers to meet varied needs and cost parameters.

Just curious but what is the price range of the Revic? How far out can you range a non reflective target?
I have yet to receive mine to try. Been notified that they shipped, so should be showing up any day. There are some reviews on shooting forums that might speak a little to this. Price is listed as $1,285.00 (EuroOptic, Scopelist, OpticsPlanet, Gunwerks, Revic Optics) Calling Gunwerks might be the fastest way to get one right now as most retailers are out-of-stock already.

Only ranged out to1600 yards. Quick and solid response. I also ranged in dense fog and was amazed at the responses at 360 when I couldn't even see objects at 425. These are observations from my experiences. Several others out there have different opinions based on their experiences. I use a range finder for hunting, long range shooting and spotting game. When I push the button I want an instant response not an error message. Sig provides that responce other popular, more expensive brands have not. Of course, this is my experience yours may be different.

They are $1250 about. I'm liking mine for sure. Just takes a little time learning the app and the optic.
Ranges trees at 2000 yards pretty easily.

Oh, I also have a leupold 1600i. That's a badass little rangefinder for $200. I use it for archery hunting. And then the Gunwerks for rifle hunting since it gives the ballistic data as well.
Right with you bud. I also like the little Leupold 1600i. Been faithfully doing it's thing for me for years in all kinds of abuse. Never failed.
