A couple of days ago I received an e-mail ad from Nosler announcing a 3-day sale.
Well, I was excited to see what bullets I might be able to get on sale!
I quickly opened up their advertisement and quickly found out that the only thing they had for sale was hats and t-shirts with their logo all over them.
I checked under the bullets collum and under the ammunition collum and they had OUT OF STOCK on each and every cartridge and bullet!
Maybe if they concentrated more on what they are known for we could get some shooting supplies on the shelves.
I suggest you guys and gals stop buying all the apparel crap and let them get back to building bullets.
When sales of apparel drop maybe they will get the message to get back to what they do best!!!

That is aggravating though…when a bullet company announced a big sale no one cares about t-shirts haha. Be like the car dealership
offering you employee pricing…on genuine Chevy coffee mugs!

A very, VERY, UN-Organized bunch over there, in Orygun ! Too bad to see, a GREAT Company,.. so POORLY run !
Berger's, Hornady's and Sierra's ARE coming thru in, drib's and drab's, BUT, they ARE available IF, you Shop, several Places !
I sold ALL my AccuBond's after, a Nosler Tech told me that, the AccuBonds CAN Vary, up to .025 in length from, one Batch to, the Next !
I had 4 Boxes of 50 ( .270 Cal. ) and ALL 4 Bx's were a DIFFERENT Length ! That was "acceptable" to them,.. YIKES !
My # 1 Bullets are, Bergers and # 2 Favorite, are,.. Sierra's !

Interested perspective. I appreciate you sharing it. I bought a .257 Weatherby AccuMark V a while back. The seller threw in some hand loads with it. I shot his 117 gr Sierra Game Kings with three holes touching at 100 yards. It was like magic.

Did you see differences in POI or group size between the batches? I know I'll be down in the armory with my calipers today! 😄

After hitting, a Bull Elk in Arizona at, 70 Yards, 2 years ago, just behind the "Crease" thru, the Lungs, with, a .270 WSM Accubond 140 grain at, 3,145 FPS results,.. Bullet didn't knock him down and the Bull walked and hopped around for, what seemed like forever ( but, probably only, a minute and a half ). I almost shot him again, but my son said, "he's dead on his feet dad", so I just watched him, closely being ready to, shoot again if, needed.
It looked like the Bullet jacket peeled back, producing a VERY small, Mushroom,.. so I SOLD them ! No further testing, was done.
Shot, a Spike bull this AM in Idaho and knocked him off his feet ( he just collapsed with, a 140 Berger ! ) Found, the jacket with, some lead in it stuck in his Hide on the far side and a few Fragments but, very little, Meat loss ! I will be staying with, Berger's as they are very accurate, well made with, PRECISE dimensions and Kill like,.. a Lightening Strike !
Gotta keep, the HP tips,.. CLEAN to work, "properly" !

Yup! New box I opened myself. Was loading my 7 mag , grabbed a bulllet and knew something was up and after measuring it up, turned out to be a .308 180gn accubond. I don't have or use any .308 accubond s so there was no way I mistakenly put them back in wrong box. Then checked the rest of the box and found three more……

WTH??? That is beyond inexcusable for an ammo mnf'r!!! Make you wonder what other mistakes are coming out of their doors?o_O

About 20 years ago, I shot a Mouflon Ram with a 140 Gr 7MM Partition at about 300 yds. I was below the ram and the bullet hit just behind the shoulder about midway up the body. After hitting a near side rib, the bullet literally exploded. There were tiny pieces of copper and lead throughout the lungs and some pieces actually went down and exited thru the stomach cavity. Never did find an exit hole from the rear part of the partition bullet - something I expected. I have not purchased another Nosler partition bullet since then.
